- To provide and maintain the SayChef service.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send you important account notifications, such as trial reminders and billing updates.
- To improve our features and user experience.
- To respond to your support requests and feedback.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Stripe — for secure payment processing and subscription management.
- Cloud storage providers — to store recipe images and files you upload.
- AI service providers — to format voice transcripts into structured recipes and generate recipe images.
- Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

- Cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page.
- Request export of your recipe data.
- Opt out of promotional emails (account notifications are still sent).

We retain your recipe data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

SayChef is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
