By creating an account or using SayChef ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SayChef is a voice-first recipe capture and management application that allows users to record, organize, share, and cook recipes. The Service includes features such as voice-to-recipe conversion, AI formatting, grocery lists, cook mode, and social sharing.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• SayChef offers a free plan with limited features and a paid Pro plan with unlimited access.
• Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. After the trial, your selected plan begins automatically.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are issued at our discretion. Contact us at contact@saychef.online for refund requests.

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of all recipes and content you create.
• You grant us a license to process your content (including AI formatting and image generation) to provide the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you create or share publicly.
• Public recipes may be viewed by other users. You can make recipes private at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on others' rights.
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service's security.
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service improperly.
• Share your account credentials with others.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to format voice transcripts into recipes, estimate nutrition, and generate images. AI output may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before use, especially cooking instructions, temperatures, and ingredient amounts.

8. Intellectual Property

The SayChef name, logo, design, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our brand or software without permission.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

SayChef is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to recipe errors, data loss, or cooking-related incidents.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful activity.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
